Rubreek CommunityStandards

Last updated: January 29, 2025

At Rubreek, we're building more than a platform—we're cultivating a community of thoughtful digital creators who help each other build better products. These community standards reflect our shared values and set expectations for how we interact on the platform.

Our Commitment to Quality Feedback

At Rubreek, we are committed to quality feedback and the protection of user privacy. By using any part of the platform and its services, you're agreeing to uphold all our policies and standards in all your interactions. These rules, policies and standards ensure everyone benefits from constructive, respectful feedback that genuinely improves products.

1

Feedback Principles

Honesty with Empathy

Be truthfully direct about problems you observe, but deliver your feedback with the understanding that real people have invested time and effort into what they've built. Criticize the product, not the creator.

Specificity Matters

Vague feedback like "I don't like the design" isn't helpful. Explain precisely what isn't working and why. The more specific your observations, the more actionable they become.

Balance Criticism with Recognition

Identify both strengths and weaknesses. Acknowledging what works well provides valuable context for understanding what needs improvement and helps creators know what to preserve.

Focus on the User Perspective

Frame your feedback around user needs and experiences rather than your personal preferences. Statements like "Users might struggle with this because..." are more valuable than "I don't like this."

Provide Reasoning, Not Just Opinions

Explain the "why" behind your observations. Help creators understand the reasoning behind your suggestions so they can make informed decisions.

2

Prohibited Behaviors

Low-Effort Feedback

Superficial or extremely brief feedback that shows minimal engagement with the product violates our standards. We expect reviewers to spend appropriate time understanding what they're evaluating.

Promotional Content

Don't use feedback as an opportunity to promote your own products or services. Feedback should focus entirely on the creator's product.

Discriminatory or Offensive Content

Feedback containing discriminatory, hateful, or offensive language has no place on our platform. Criticism should address the product, never include personal attacks, and respect diversity.

Confidentiality Violations

All content shared on Rubreek must be treated as confidential. Never share screenshots, information, or access to products outside the platform without explicit permission.

Intellectual Property Theft

Feedback should help improve products, not appropriate ideas. Using the platform to gather competitive intelligence or copy concepts violates our core values.

Gaming the System

Manipulative practices like trading superficial positive reviews, creating multiple accounts to increase earnings, or providing intentionally poor feedback to disadvantage competitors will result in account suspension.

3

Feedback Quality Guidelines

For Roast Feedback

Even quick, direct feedback should identify specific issues, explain why they matter, and when possible, suggest improvements. A good roast is candid but constructive.

For Structured Feedback

Follow the template completely, providing thoughtful responses to each section. Include specific examples, screenshots where helpful, and clear explanations of both problems and potential solutions.

For Technical Feedback

Demonstrate technical understanding by identifying specific implementation concerns, performance issues, or architectural considerations. Provide concrete recommendations with reasoning.

4

Community Reciprocity

Give What You'd Like to Receive

Approach each review with the care and thoroughness you'd want for your own products. The strength of our community depends on this reciprocity.

Respond to Feedback Graciously

When receiving feedback, respond thoughtfully and appreciatively, even if you disagree. Ask clarifying questions rather than becoming defensive.

Report Problems Appropriately

If you encounter feedback that violates our standards, report it through proper channels rather than engaging in conflict. Our moderation team reviews all reports promptly.

5

Consequences for Violations

We take these standards seriously and use a tiered approach to address violations:

1

Warning

First-time minor violations typically result in feedback being flagged for revision and educational guidance from our team.

2

Temporary Restrictions

Repeated or significant violations may lead to temporary restrictions on platform activities and potential loss of earned tokens.

3

Permanent Suspension

Severe or persistent violations can result in permanent suspension from the platform and forfeiture of unredeemed tokens.

Our moderation team reviews all flagged content and makes enforcement decisions based on both the letter and spirit of these standards.

Growing Together

These standards will evolve as our community grows. We welcome your input on how we can better foster a culture of constructive feedback and continuous improvement.

By maintaining these standards, we create an environment where honest feedback leads to better products, stronger skills, and meaningful connections between digital creators.

Thank you for being part of the Rubreek community and helping us build a better way to improve digital products.
